Still Undefeated!

With Oklahoma in the sights for the Longhorns, the Colorado Buffaloes came into town to derail the #2 ranked Longhorns. The first half was a scare for the Longhorns as nothing seemed to be going there way. Fumbles and bad defensive play seemed to be the main problem. Colorado quarterback, Cody Hawkins burned Texas twice on 2 play-action passes for touchdowns leaving the score 14 Colorado-10 Texas at halftime. However, the Longhorns always know how to step it up when they need to. In the second half, special teams and defensive began to step up. Ben Wells blocks a punt and returns it for a three yard touchdown and Jordan Shipley comes through with a 74 yard punt return. One of the biggest plays of the night comes from Earl Thomas with his 92 yard interception return, tying the second longest in Texas history. After the big second half, the Longhorns come through with the victory, with the final score being 38-14.
