Still On Top!

Who's number 2 in college football? The Texas Longhorns are! After the long awaited rematch between the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Tech Red Raiders hits 0.00 on the scoreboard we finally have revenge! With the game close for most of the first half, we saw the scoreboard get lit up by Colt McCoy and Taylor Potts. With Texas Tech being behind for most the game Potts could only play catch up by throwing for a whopping 46/62for 420 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. But stats do not mean a win in the records books. Colt McCoy's 4th quarter touchdown pass to Dan Buckner was the dagger in the hearts of all Raiders fans. McCoy passed for 24/34 for 205 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions. After that 4th quarter touchdown, there was no answer for the Red Raiders as the Longhorns defense stopped them from any last minute miracles and making the final score 34-24. On top of the two talented quarterbacks, Jordan Shipley made several highlight reels. With his punt return for a touchdown and 11 reception day. Revenge is sweet and the longhorns are tasting a big bowl of it!
